Contact Steve Pugmire if theres something youd like to be included in the playlists :DI should say that I can't "do" requests. Like if you want "sweet home alabama" I would type in lynard skynard (please don't make me do that!) and then have to go through artists similar to lynard skynard and see if last.fm even has that song included. This involves a lot of skipping whereas I'd much rather just tune into an artist or tag* and let it go for a while.

if you want to find out how last.fm works go ahead over to http://last.fm or http://www.last.fm/help/faq and read up on it. Maybe you'll sign up and we can be friends :)

I'll try and explain it the best I can.

Last.fm is a service (similar to pandora or maybe pandora is similar to last.fm) that allows you to download a player to your computer and you *search by artist (ex: Beatles) or tag (Rock) and it will either play artists similar in sound to the beatles or songs that match the tag rock*. these all get put into the radio station over on the left side. I don't know if it has every song I listened to on there or what; but if it does there's a good many tracks and styles of music on there.

i'm completely open to listening to all kinds of music except i don't know how it gets on the player to the left.

You can see my profile here:

http://www.last.fm/user/anlgp
- generic profile

http://www.last.fm/user/anlgp/library
- library of artists, tracks, etc.

http://www.last.fm/user/anlgp/tracks
- recently listened to tracks

it's got pretty much any kind of information you'd want.

My point is this: if they don't have a song or an artist there I don't believe there's anything I can do about it and I have to listen to it (I think) to get it on the play list.

anyway, like bro budreau said if you want me to play something i'll play it; but keep in mind i have to listen to it for it to be included in my library. :) thanks

:rolf: I agree! Unfortunately, since he brought it up, I now think of him as a Vanila Ice fan...

Ouch.

All I can say is at least it's his music you're criticizing and not mine. :D:notworthy:

Debbie Gibson was hot back when I was 12... as for Vanilla Ice, you have not lived until you have seen my Kareokee Ice, Ice baby impression. :) A site you will never forget. :) (I sometimes forget though cause it takes a more than a couple beers to get me to that level.)

I seem to be missing where the widget is located?

It should be on the left.

http://www.thesanctumsanctorum.com

I know what you mean though, because right now I can't see it.

Ah, I can see it if I go to the main page...but I don't do that in my surfing; I go straight to the board and hit "New Posts". If there was a way to get the widget on the board page, I'd probably use it.

It's hit or miss with me sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not.

Justin what's going on w/this?
